“Missery puts you right where you need to be.”
– Hugh Johnson, world's best selling wine writer

Directions

We are halfway between Paris and Lyon, so, roughly: a two and a half hours’ drive from Paris; a two hours' drive from Paris Orly Airport, and a fifteen-minute drive from the A6 motorway exit of Bierre-lès-Semur. The nearby Dijon airport accommodates private jets, whereas the excellent TGV whizzes from Paris to Montbard, our closest train station, in one speedy hour. We can provide more detailed directions on booking.

You can find us on Google Maps by simply entering Château de Missery in the search bar, or by clicking on this link.

Upon arrival, you will be warmly greeted by your Château Hosts with a hot cup of tea, or a Kir Ducal: Burgundy will be your duchy for the week!

Tip from the Hosts

If you are driving from Paris and wish to have a bite en route, we recommend Le Quai in Auxerre. It serves traditional French fare, delicious pizzas and has menus at around €20-25. www.lequai-auxerre.com
